Is there an NHF on xntp setup? I've installed xntp and looked at the NTP site and understand I need to put it in cron, but how??Thanks,Dirk

hah, funny I was just looking at that same software package myself.

I ended up using 'rdate' check on freshmeat for it, and you can run a command like

rdate -s time.nist.gov

to sync your clocks to like the governments atomic clocks or some junk like that.
it worked for me, my clocks are right now...

I just used " root# ntpdate time.nist.gov " and I got the time alright, but no change to my system time. I need the HOWTO tell my system to accept the offering.

I have a newbie sheet on XNTP here: www.raymondjones.net/ntpguide.html (http://www.raymondjones.net/ntpguide.html)
Note that this installs a running daemon, and does not use cron to get it going. Ray
