Hi, i'm having difficulties with lilo. I just installed slackware linux on a p75. I'm trying to use lilo to boot from the hard drive. i've tried installing to the mbr and the root superblock. However, no matter what when i try to boot it from the hard drive it freezes when loading lilo. LI is all that shows up on my screen. When i boot from a floppy, it works fine. Any help would be appreciated. thanks ;)

Somewhere towards the beginning of the lilo.conf file put this:
lba32
Then run /sbin/lilo -v

Could you post your /etc/lilo.conf file. Also what version of lilo are you using?
