instead of having to run Netscape from the terminal, how do I make an icon for it?

What Windows Manger are you using.... If you are in KDE, then right click, find new, application. Find the tab that says excecute, type the path of the program you want the icon to run (/usr/local/netscape/netscape) Thats about it, I'm sure its similar in gnome.

Well, I tried that, but nothing happens. When I run it in the terminal, I type ./netscape in the directory I installed it in which is home/mark/.netscape.

Then do like mychl said and put /home/mark/.netscape/netscape in the path statement when you make the new application.

Didn't work that way either. Another suggestion, please. :confused:
