I buy too many books. It's that simple. And I have tons that I think other people could use more than I could.
I have, in readable condition, (not good, readable -- that means no ripped out pages, no nasty spills, but they are most definitely used books. Don't worry, they'll work for you; if they won't, we can exchange back) the following books:
The Perl Cookbook
Learning Perl
Programming Perl
C++, The Core Language
C++ Primer Plus (by the waite group)
Linux Programming White Papers
Practical C Programming
I haven't come up with specific prices, but I can't imagine charging any more than $10 + shipping for any of those. I also have, though not currently in my possession (they're loaned out):
The O'Reilly Bash book (can't remember the exact title)
Linux: Core Kernel and Commentary
Running Linux
Linux in a Nutshell
Again, I can't imagine charging more than $10 for any of these, though I can't ship right away, as they're not in my possession.
Free, for the cost of shipping only (mostly because I either got them free or they're not incredibly useful):
TeX for the beginner (by Wynter Snow [no joke, that's his name -- parents must've hated him.])
Debian GNU/Linux Guide to Installation and Usage
If anyone wants any of these, just ask. Post (or email me at jfincher@jemfinch.shacknet.nu) why you want the book (what you do with it is more important to me, really, than what else I would get out of it.) If you have any books you'll consider trading, my current interests are Python, XML, SQL, and Latin.
Jeremy
P.S. This post is much more useful here than in the sale/trade forum, IMO.
