If you didn't choose the right features during installation, is there away you can add or remove them without reinstalling Linux altogether? Say I wanted Pico, for example, but only had vi. It's probably on the installation CD, but how can I add just that one part?

No, there is no need to reinstall the entire OS. Which distribution are you using?

You can download the package (tar, rpm, deb) and install it yourself. Its fairly easy.

I prefer working with Mandrake. Think v. 7 is what I've got. I also have copies of RedHat 7, but usually have a lot of trouble with it
