I have trouble logging into my isp. The problem is with the authentification method. According to Dial-up-networking the method is PAP. But in kppp it wont work using PAP, and I CHAP for the hell of it, and it also didnt work. The only method is the Bring Terminal authentification. Where I get the terminal window pop up and the login: & password: prompts. This is the only method I can log into the ISP.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be done?

Put noauth on single line in /etc/ppp/options file and try again...you might also put debug in same file which should tell you more about your connection status and where it fails.Hope this helps.
