I'm curious as to how their distro kernel
is set up. There is no directory /usr/src/linux with a source
module there. I chose "development" in the
install, but not documentation.
Their kernel is very user friendly & device-
friendly, how to go about seeing what options
were chosen when they compiled the distro kernel. I do not want to use oldconfig, as I
want to add some options of my own, just
study theirs.
Also, their bootup has a nice blue screen
showing how everything loads, in an X-window.
I there a way to incorporate this into a
new fresh kernel...
I couldn't find info on this in a site search
here.
Thanks
