netscape freeze

I am a little rusty. Every time my netscape froze, I delete the lock fileand it worked again. Seems like there is a way to fix it permanently, but I just can't remember it. Can somebody help? thanks.

Have you tried Konqueror?

What does it do? is it an IDE.

It's a web browser for the KDE, I believe. I'm not sure if it's possible to use it in GNOME or other window managers, but it may be possible.

Konqueror is a web browser and yes you can use it in gnome, you just need the kde/qt libs installed.
