Can ne1 give me a link or scan of some magazine pages that tell me how to do this? Where can I get a cheap box for this project? What should the specs of the system be? Has ne1 here done this? What are you experiences? Thanks in advance.

Here's one thing I was wondering about:
Would the computer just run off of the car battery all the time so that even if you turned the car off it would keep running.

How would you gracefully shutdown the system when you leave the car? It would have to be pretty easy to forget about it until you come back to a very dead car :-P

You have to make a display thinging that lets you do all sorts of cool stuff.

My plan is going to be to put my laptop in the boot of the car and have it directly linked to the I.C.E with a display running off the serial port and a numeric keypad from the PS/2 controlling MP123. Easy or what?
