I'm running KDE2 as my desktop environment and I want to change my clock from military time to the normal 12 hour kind. (I want it to be digital not analog). At preferences nor control center I can find anything. Help!

Go to KControl > Personalization > Country & Language

Set country to US, Language to US, and charset to 'unknown'. This last part is the kicker. Different charsets have worked differently for different people. 'Unknown' just happens to work for me. So far it looks like everyone who changes their country (without changing the charset) fubars the way fonts look throughout the desktop. If you want a good idea of what I'm talking about, just change the country without changing the charset, close kcontrol, and then open kcontrol again...

Thanks alot! It worked for me...seems like they should let you just be able to change it under preferences when you right click it. Thanks for helping a Linux Newbie!
