What kind of ADSL connection? Do you have a static IP, dynamic, PPPoE? What kind of hardware has your ISP/Telco provided? Did they assign you a set of DNS server addresses? Do you currently have an NIC installed and configured? Please provide at least this much info and we can get you up and running.

I have all the server info....My ISP provided me with all the DNS info I should need. I have a dynamic IP, I don't think my NIC card is configured.
so what should we do next???

if you have an external modem connected to your pc via an ethernet card, head over to www.roaringpenguin.com (http://www.roaringpenguin.com) and get there pppoe application (what I use with my dsl hook-up). This should be all you need to get your internet setup working.
comeback if you run into problems

Thanks for your help.
I am probably too much of a newbie to be tackling this, but I looked through and I will give it a shot. Can't I set up ADSL through DHCP? Does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks again

most DSL providers use a DHCP.
