just reinstalled RH7-startx problem

When I attempt to run startx I get an error like this:
--several times it says--
mode "1200x700"(or some other) needs hsync freq (x).... deleted.

--then--
Warning: directory "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType doesn't exist
Entry deleted from path

Font path set to "unix/:7100"
**None of configured devices detected**
Fatal error:
no screen found

I put in a new video card in addition to the one output from my motherboard--but it doesnt seem to be a prob since I got this far--or is it?

When you put in your new video card do you setup X to handle this card? It is most likely using all of the settings for your old one. Run Xconfigurator or one of the many other ways to setup X

I had a similar problem, and could not get it to work right until i disabled the onboard video card in the BIOS. just a thought.
