any good irc cleint to stay away from ****

hiii
i am using redhat 5.2 hre .. have no oirc cleint .. and want to stay away from gnomre shi .. is happy with fwvm ... but
every time i try to install xchat or some other irc cleint they have some **** dependicies with gnome **** libs and the rest ..
soo always fails to install themm .. is there any other irc cleint which i can use in x mode and wont be needing to install exta things or to go for a newer version

For future refrence, saying **** every 3 words is not such a great way of getting your question answered. But...since I'm feeling kind today, I'll give it a shot.

try checking on tucows in the linux section. They have a nice selection of programs there.

Also, Redhat 5.2 is ancient. Seriously, you should upgrade to a more recent distro.
