any ideas on what the best (easiest? :D) way to do this would be? i'm having a hard time researching it.

naturallly i'd like more general answers, but practically it's only something that hasta work on IE.

optimally it'd be something a little dynamic: meaning i can have 1+ rows to enter data in, and add new rows as needed. aside from that all i need to be able to do is get to the data in some way to feed into some server script.

YaR:

This may not be what you're looking for, but it seems to me that you could fairly easily build a tabled spreadsheet-like interface with perl. I can't imagine it being too difficult.. and, once you had the module built, it could be used for many other projects.

Just a thought.

I've seen this before.
You might try posting a message on The Buzz (http://www.builder.com/).
They'd know where one is.

You could also use PHP..

it can generate GIF and PNG files on the fly..

well, since it's all microsoftian, I wouldn't be suprised if IE already had hooks for excel.
