Hi, I've got a new hard drive i want to hook up and install linux on. My question today is whether or not I should use this diskette that came with it.

It is called MaxBlast Plus Hard Drive Install Utility.

Is this only useful if I am going to use it for windows? Anyone have an experience with something like this?

You only need it if your current BIOS does not recognize the full size of the drive.
