Hi all,
I've been having some weird problems when attempting to install RPM packages in Mandrake 7.2. When using the rpm -i command to install packages, the install will run and run and run, constantly hitting the hard drive. I tried to install the newest version of balsa and the install ran for about 20 minutes and I finally stopped it. By the way, the only way I can stop the install process is to shut the computer off. No other commands worked. This seems to happen to every package I download and try to install. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.
