I'll miss windows... not :)

Well I got my wonderful linux computer up and running and I've had great luck with it. Just plugged in the modem and dialed up to the internet FIRST TIME, everything works great, and best of all no annoying errors/freezes.

So I still keep a running windows ocmputer next to the linux box, big deal. I still need my games. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

Great!! I've found Linux to be some highly addicting sh!t! I used to be a bigtime gamer with Win-tendo but now, my next big thing is learning how this particular OS works. In other words, I'm learning to embrace my inner geek. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

Redhat to start out with. Going to switch to Debian later I suppose.

Im using stormix now, a version of Debian, or rather Debian with some of the tough spots smoothed over but I love it! Don't know why I wasted so much time with Mandrake.
