ok..this has got be purplexed (sorry...it's late, brain not working)

I installed RH 7.1 a few months ago (repetedly) and everytime, it would tell me that my bios isn't suited for a /boot, so it recommends a bootdisk...happily i comply and everything installs...

but now, when i tried to install it again (same system, same set up, same disks!) it doesn't warn me of teh bios, and asks me to manually create the partitions.

The problem is, that i'm trying to install linux on the back part of a 20 gig HD, so it keeps compaling that / is after teh 1024th cylander... i never had this problem with the boot disk...

so the question is...how do i get it to detect teh bios or force it to use a bootdisk?

HELP!!!!

....linux hates me...i know this now...

the primary is the first 10 gigs for windows
I'm trying to install linux in the last 10 gigs, which is the extended dos partition
