Hello out there. I been using ssh for a while. I love it plus it works fine with me. But I found a little program that runs better with ssh. Dont know if some of you guys hear of it but its call "SSHBUDDY". The software is cool. what it does it saves all your connection you creat with passwd and user name. But theirs a proble in the user name that your using it . Theirs a hidden folder called .sshbuddy in that folder you will find other subfolder but in one folder you have a file called sshdata. That file holds all the username , password and ip address your trying to connect too. So my job is to find other program thats the same way. But i would like the all the files that hold the passwd , user and ip address to be encryption . so if anyone know can you please let me know.

Thank you

I'm not sure I understand the question... Okay, it logs every connection you create with username and password. But I got lost at "But theirs (sic) a proble (sic) in the user name that your (sic) using it." Everything in that sentence is after is just ... lost.

I think he is trying to say that he doesn't like how the user/pass/server info is stored plaintext somewhere in his ~ dir, and he'd like a replacement program that would do the same thing, only encrypt the data that is saved.

Maybe you could just remember your userinfo and server?

sorry for not making sense. But your right the sshbuddy saves the setting on your connection.

your user name passwd and ip address. I'm trying to find other program that does encrypt the text file.
