I installed Debian, but my Epson Stylus 400 Color Printer doesn't work. The message I get is that the printer isn't configured. How do you config a printer in Debian?

You can use apt to get either, assuming apt is setup.. That should also take you through the config, and hopefully get you a working printer. I'd use stcolor on the apsfilter side, I'm not sure on the printtool side. BK1 12-23-2000, 08:01 PM Another dumb question. Do you just type apt-get and the program you need at a prompt and somehow Debian finds it? How does that work? Thanks, veloctTX 12-23-2000, 10:12 PM Type: apt-get install <package> justlinux.com
