If so....how??
I read on the homepage that you have to pass -DKDE2 to the compiler. I cant even get it to configure.
Anyone??

I think that my problem is with KDE2. The homepage for knapster says that all the code is included with it but you have to pass the above mentioned argument to compile it.

Are you sure, that you have all librarys install that you need to compile?
That was my first and only problem with knapster...

whaa HA..
It seems that KDE2 is the culprit. I think it is the code (or lack there of) for KDE2. Got any ideas on another napster client that works in KDE2

Gnapster works great. I don't have the link off hand, but search http://freshmeat.net for Gnapster, and it will be the first thing found by the search.

I just got and installed GTK Napster and it works like a charm. Give it a shot since Knapster doesnt like KDE2 yet
