I'm about to get my copy of LM 7.2 this week, I have been playing with LM 7.1 for about month now and got all my hardware running and everything I wanted running, running properly. I have win98 and LM7.1 in separate HD's. I think I'm ready to go ALL LINUX ONLY. So bye bye windows hard drive and hello big *** /root partition with dual swap partitions of 256mb and a huge /home partition.

Oh, I wish i could do the same...

My big problem is that Iīm A Counter-Strike Player...And I couldnīt get HL run under Linux. Someone told me, it can be done with WINE...anyone knows??

Been Microsoft free since last March. Don't miss it one bit. I get to spend a lot more time computing since I don't have to waste my time dealing with crashes and the dreaded "blue screen of death"

Possible, but probably not easy and probably only works well with certain hardware anyway.

Iīm a poor boy...I donīt think HL would run with a Voodoo 5 with wine...

Anyone knows???

Yup Drake 7.2 simply rocks.I myself went 100% Linux on my main rig the other day when I installed my copy of 7.2.I liked it so much I toasted my win32 partition and devoted my whole 20gigs to Linux http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

Konqueror rocks as a file manager and web browser.I like it way better than nutscrape.It's amazing how a couple changes and a couple new features can make a whole world of difference.Throw KDE2 into the mix and it was all I needed to make the final transition from windows.7.2 is a worthy upgrade from 7.0/7.1 IMHO.

I was also a Counterstrike nut(all i played for 9 months).But after playing CS v1.0 I am turned off big time.Valve ruined the models,it looks too much like TFC now.There arent even any hit animations!CS was my reason for having a win partition,now that reason is gone cause 1.0 just sucks IMHO.
