When I use the CGI modules in perl, and run the script from the command line... if I don't put command line parameters, it will say something like:

(offline mode: enter params... blah blah)

At this point, I can enter command line params as needed.. however...

I don't want to use any parameters... I want to see the script run without them at the command line.. How do I tell it to NOT wait for input?

If I hit Ctrl-C or Ctrl-Z it stops the program. Nothing else seems to work... what am I doing wrong? How can I do this?

Anyone? http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

Ok, I'm an idiot. Immediately after I hit 'submit' to post this, I tried again... and I found out, it's Ctrl-D.

Sheesh... I'm an idiot.

And, just in case anyone wants to know, I'm very happy cuz I finally found a woman-type who likes me!!! Woohoo!!! http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
