Load Gnome as default

Can you please tell me how to log in default with the gnome desktop??
Now linux logs in with the KDE environment.

If you're using the graphical login screen, you can select GNOME from the drop down list, and it should remember your choice.

it won't be default for new users, but it'll stay gnome for you.

if you aren't using a graphical login, just change your .Xinitrc file (in your home directory) to exec gnome-session.

if you don't have an .Xinitrc file, just make one.
