I am trying to setup a linux box on a network that has both 10bit and 100bit switches connected to it. My connection works fine when I plug it into a 10bit, but I don't get anything when I plug into a 100bit switch. I am using a 3Com 10/100 NIC. Any ideas?
PS Excuse my ignorance if anything I said doesn't make sense. I know very little about networking.
