Kernel compile error

Hey fellas! I just got through compiling my first kernel! A problem though, I can't boot from it. I get an error message..

"Loading linux.EBDA too big"

Does anyone know what this means? I can boot from the old one fine.

this is a lilo issue, did you re-run lILO after you compiled the kernel?
