I have done exactly this, though I have one win98 PC and one RH 6.2 Linux server. It should be easy to scale up two win98 PCs. What you want is IP Masquerading. Go to this site, it has extensive instructions on how to carry out this task: http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/IP-Masquerade-HOWTO.html
It helped me out. It took me an afternoon to set up the connection sharing. I now have a linux server that is a firewall/ Samba/ NFS/ www/ ftp/ ssh server, and also a IP MASQ server.
Equipment that you require:
One Linux server with 2 NICs, one hub, couple patch cords.
Post up any more messages if you need more help.
Hope this helps.

Hi !
I would like to know how to unpack a kernel v2.2.x like they do at http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/IP-Masquerade-HOWTO-3.html when using RedHat 6.2 ...
(cant find file linux-2.2.x.tar.gz )
And i would like to know if this is the only way to config a network-dhcp on redhat (i dont have any X-Windows apps).
post a msg or email me at fl2@hermes.usherb.ca
Thanks !
