Joystick mods in RedHat 7.1

Hi all, I got a joystick that I would like to use with RedHat 7.1. Could anyone help me out with this? Any one here ever got an Joystick to work in Redhat 7.1? Do I have to( knowing that I don't want to) recompile my kernel? Could anyone plz help me been trying to figure this out for days. :D

Once again I went to Google (http://www.google.com/linux) and entered 'Redhat joystick' and did get quite a few hits. You could try different variations of the search to narrow it down.

In my opinion, it is better to show someone how to get the answers than to tell him the answers outright. That way, if anything else comes up, that person won't have to depend on you to get things done.

I've never setup a joystick in Linux and have no idea how to do it.

Usually a Google search can get the info you require. Just go to the Google url I gave you and try the search for joystick or Redhat joystick.
