XFree86 4.0.1 ƒonts not loading!!!

when I try to start X, I get the messages>>>

could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list!

could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/, removing from list!

waiting for X Server to shut down

how do I fix this?!?!?

what linux distro do u use?
I had that problem on my Debian before, but then i installed the package called xutils n that package fix that problem

that's probably because you don't have the /usr/X11R6/bin/mkfontdir command, or you haven't installed the require fonts to init X
