Here's what I'm up to:
I start with RedHat 5.2 (yes, 5.2) and do
a bare-bones install. I upgrade the kernel,
upgrade to glibc-2.1.3, upgrade practically
everything. Everything is a source-install,
unless I can't find it; only then, as a last resort, do I RPM.
My question: When all is said and done, it's not really a RedHat distro anymore. But I don't really know what that means. I'm afraid that lurking somewhere in my system is something that says I'm RH (there's a redhat dir. in /usr/src; login says RedHat 5.2, etc.) How do I find these and get rid of 'em?
