Hey Guys !

The thing is that i want to be able to log in my box from everywhere in the world ... basicly from my parents house or so .
The thing is my home box is connected through a win2000 pc to the internet . And the strange thing is that even from there i dont seem to be able to ping this pc . The Winderz boz is the DHCP server and i get my ip address from there . The connection is a cable connection .

So how would i do that ?

Thanx in advance !

hmmm.... there are two ways that i can think of: 1) setup the win2k telnet server, so you can telnet into that, then telnet into linux. Or the 2nd, which i dont know how to do in windows, is to setup a firewall that, when contacted on certain ports, forwards it. Godot's gShield firewall does that for linux, but i'm not sure for windows (there must be something, but i doubt it will be free)
