Printing in linux.

I have to set up a Braille printer under linux. It uses a standard ASCII Text driver, as the software which will be from a windows client using Samba puts in what it needs.

How do I set up a generic text printer, and what is the best printing system to use, which will be running on Debian 2.2?

do a search for cups which is a good printer module

im sure freshmeat would have it

Are there any command-line tools to configure cups? I am telnetting to the linux box and don't want anything graphical.
