Hello from spain.

I'm setting up a small network with 12 (or perhaps more) computers running linux, it's a project for a children's farm where i want to teach children to use their computer. I need tutorials or howto's about how to config the network cards to configure IP on computers, (I've set up small windows networks), from the beginning

PD: I do apologize for my english.

Thank you.

setup a dhcp server so that the client boxes can get all the IP information automatically, much easier for you in the long run

will it have internet access? or just local network?

here (http://www.linuxnewbie.org/nhf/intel/network/) are several NHF (Newbieized Help Files) that deal with different aspects of linux networking, see if they cover part of your question

maybe give us some more details of what you had in mind, do you already know which distribution you will use??

do you already have the NIC's (network interface cards) ?

good luck! :)
