Why can't I delete from my mounted share?

I have mounted my home directory using smbclient and can only read from it. This is what I have in my /etc/fstab
//192.168.1.1/mahdi /share/home smbfs username=mahdi%xxxxxx,user 0 0
I have also tried it with umask=000 but still could only read.What am I missing?

No specifics here, but I think you should be looking at smb.conf, can't you set permissions there...
