Ok, i have since ditched using LRP as a router and switched to freesco, which is much easier to configure in my opinion. However, it will find my 3com card fine and it operates (pings other box). However, the linksys card will not work for anything. I read all the documentation I could find on freesco and put the tulip.o module in the drv directory on the floppy but it still does not work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!
Which Linksys card are you trying to use?
I used couple of Linksys isa 10bt in my 486 box and it's been going for about two years now as a DSL router.
After booting my box and running the set up disk from Linksys setting the irqs and i/o, Freesco was a breeze. :D

the linksys LNE100TX version 4 (new cards) use a different driver than the version 2 cards (tulip.o)
freesco hasn't been updated in a while , i would guess if your card is a rev 4, that it isn't supported
either trade you linksys for another card or just get another card
i have some 3com 3c509 ISA cards that i have used with freesco, email me if you are interested :)
