hi,

Ok, I installed Slackware 8 fine and I logged in and typed KDM in the terminal thing and it took me to the GUI login screen......anyways I only gave Linux 2 gigs and the install was 2 gigs so I was nearly out of room. So I went to windows and uninstalled some games and resized my Linux partition to 3.3 gigs.

When I went into Linux the lilo thing only said
"LIL-"
and stopped.
So I formated the drive from windows and re installed Slackware. Now LILO will load but when I type in "KDM" or "GDM" the screen just blinks 6 or 7 times then takes me back to the terminal. :(

What is wrong. Since then I tried formatting again and still it wont work :( .

Little help please?

I can't stand windows much longer.....

Thanks

Does it give you an error? Is your XFree86 setup right?

You probably just have to reconfigure X. Increasing the size of the Linux partition shouldn't do anything to your graphics.
