Hey considering Win2k is really NT 5.0 and some 98 in with it will for redhat 7.1 I need to do a custom config and customize the LILO for the MBR stuff..? or can I do a standard install?

You won't be able to boot Linux without it until you "put Linux" on the W2K bootloader. You need to make a "file" called linux.bin to put in your C: drive and to edit the boot.ini file to point to that file to get a Linux option in the W2K bootloader. You can find really specific instructions here (http://www.littlewhitedog.com/reviews_other_00011.asp) about making the linux.bin file and what it really is.
