I've installed and configured lvs on Red Hat 6.2 When it starts up, the lvs, pulse, and nanny processes run. a alias port is configured as eth0:1, eth 0 is the public network. I can ping the address at eth0:1, but not telnet to port 80. from the server, I can open the virtual address in a web page, but it does not display the web page from the real servers. I am using SSH, and can SSH and ping all of the real servers from the virtual server. I can ping the virtual server from the real servers. the real server apache installs are up and running. i can see the real server up times using ruptime from the virtual serve.
I can't get this thing to forward requests to the real servers or even answer requests on the virtual server port. any ideas?
