HEEEEEEELP! My resolution in Linux!

I have Linux Mandrake 8.0 (Traktopel) and a game crashed and now the resolution is really horrible! How do I set the resolution? I really need help! :eek:

I take it you were running in full screen mode; what does restarting the X server or even rebooting the machine do? How 'bout the old CTRL-ALT-KP+ / CTRL-ALT-KP- toggle?
