Hello. I'm still working on getting samba to work. I'm using both the help files and the book "Peter Norton's Complete Guide to Linux" to figure it out. Both refer to a file called inetd.conf in my /etc that I need to edit, in order for swat to work. The problem is, I dont have an inetd.conf file. I've got an identd.conf file, but thats the closest thing. I've found that the RPMS that came with the tar file I downloaded did not even creat a usr/local/samba directory, so I wound up making my own through the methods described in the book. Where do i find this file, or what does it mean if i do not have it? Thanks
