My first day with Linux! When I installed Redhat 6.2 server, I didn't know the IP address, so left it at DHCP. Now I need to set the IP address. How do I do this? Thanks in advance.

First, you'll need to tell Redhat not to use DHCP. You then need to enter all of your networking information (IP address, subnet mask, DNS server IPs, routing/gateway info, etc.). I know that Rh 6.2 includes the graphical configuration program "linuxconf"; you can do all of your configuration from there. I can't seem reach Redhat's support site at the moment to give you the link, but as I recall, the Installation and Customization Guide for version 6.2 will walk you through the necessary steps.
