Hi,
I learned on Slackware 7.1 and now that Slackware 8 came out I downloaded it and installed it. No problems.
But the KDE in 8 is alot different from the KDE in 7.1. The bar that used to go along the top that you minimize programs to is gone. Is there any way to get it back because the new system of it being on the bottem is extremely annoying. Also how do you change the desktop buttons from saying 1, 2, 3, 4 to having text in them. I knew how to in the old Slackware but can't figure it out in this one. I know how to NAME them but I don't know how to make it show the names.

Thanks :)

About your first problem, right click on the panel, hit applet or extension or whatever, then to extension, and select taskbar. I don't remember what the folder's name is after right clicking the panel. It's one towards the top.

As for changing your desktop names, I don't have a clue...
