Upgrading PHP

Hi

Currently I have 'Apache/1.3.9 (Unix) (Red Hat/Linux) mod_perl/1.19 PHP/3.0.12'.

I would like to upgrade to PHP4 using RPM.

Do I need to upgrade my Apache?

not sure if you re-compile apache or simply install or upgrade php4 and add the module to httpd.conf

apache.org and php.net will help
