As I have been entirely unable to fix my CD-ROM problem, and my first installation had a few faults, I want to reinstall Drak 8.0. I have a Windows partition and a Linux partition, both sharing my HDD, about half each.

With this new installation, I want to wipe both Windows and my Linux partitions off, and just install Linux.

Can anyone recommend a program to do this (not Partition Magic ;)?

Thanks,
Ardoss.

If you want to install Mandrake 8.0 again then you dont need any other program - Mandrake ( and all other Distros can as well )will do it all for you .

Each distribution has it's own partitioning program. During installation you'll be prompted to choose a partition, as well as to delete and create a new one.
