I'm working on setting up a sendmail server here. Right now I'm just testing....

Everything seems to be great if I'm working on the Sendmail box itself - using sendmail -vt and keying in the SMTP message by hand.

I can log in via the POP3 and access the mail recieved on an account as well. But when I try to send anything from the Eudora client (win98), the address is "unacceptable" to my SMTP server.

What setting Have I missed?

Thanks a ton!

ok at 1st i have a problem here too. but here i fixed it. goto where ur sendmail.cf is. then look for the line relay-domains. in mine config, (Slack 7.1) i have /etc/mail directory and in thr are d sendmail configs. i just add a file /etc/mail/relay-domains . it contains hosts/ip's that are allowed to relay messages on mine server. this should help :) goodluck!

Added the info about the station to the relay-domains file. Now I can send messages out, but only to the domains listed in that file. What have a jacked up!?
