Missing make

Hi, just installed Mandrake 8 and tried to 'make install' my aureal driver and found that I don't have this command. Anyone know the best way to get it on my system?

You need to install the development tools in your CD.

I would but I did an ftp install. So I guess I'm looking for packages to get and install.
