I am wanting to use a Linux server to replace an existing NT print server. The present server is the queue for 2 HP8000N printers. I have notta clue how to go abotu doing this considering I havn't messed with the linux printing capabilities.. I guess my main question is.. Can Linux replace a NT printer server? I hope so.. and if so HOW do I go about doing this. I already have a Linux DHCP server running and would like to go to 100 percent FREE linux.

If this is a Win network (I'm guessing it is), you can use Samba to set up your printers and see them from the Win clients. There have been a TON of threads in here on Samba, so just search the forum for more info.
