What distro are you using? Most come with xwindows... and blackbox, I can't remember the site. But a google search for blackbox picks it up as the first site most times.

i'm using SuSE, and running KDE for my
X-windows...
searching google brought a bunch of hacker (lamer) sites, as did black box linux...
i tried the SuSe site, but that brought nothing but a headache as their site is poorly laid out for someone like me...

Blackbox isn't a new X Window System. KDE isn't X. KDE and Blackbox are simply window managers for X. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

Blackbox can be found at http://blackbox.alug.org/.

Blackbox can be found at http://blackbox.alug.org/.

And for those of you using Debian, a simple
apt-get update
apt-get install blackbox
will do it for you. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif
