DNSserver howto's/help for RH 7.2?

I am having a very hard time understanding how DNS server configuring and running works on linux.

I have set it up before on winNT, but never on linux. I re-read the howto many times, but it has not been updated to include bind 9, which is included in my distro, RH 7.2.

I realize that there is a config utility for Bind included with gnome/kde, but I have not been sucessful at finding much documentation on how to use it.

Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks for any help.

I reccomend always checking out RedHat's docs (www.redhat.com) first. They have all their manuals and all sorts of useful things there.
