What groups do *I* belong to?

The root user adn the installation have set up a set of groups. How do *I*, as a user, find out what groups I belong to?

I see /etc/group but that just tells what groups exist. I want to know which of those groups do I belong to.

At a console or CLI type 'groups' to get a listing of the groups you are currently a member of.
